Each day brings changes for all of us in how we conduct business. In our industry of pharmaceutical and device Regulatory Affairs, we are in much better shape than many other industries. If you are not working from home yet, most likely you will be shortly. What does that mean for you and your company?
Insigni Partners is located in the state of Washington, which has been hard hit yet we are up and running and fortunately, working remotely is something we are well set up for. Daily, we talk to people regarding their regulatory affairs careers and what all this will mean going forward. We do not have the answers but here are things you can do to contribute:
1. Personal Responsibility: Show your company that their faith in you is well-placed. They are taking care of you by having you work remotely--take care of your company by being accountable and delivering more than what is expected of you.
2. Drug development is a “team sport”! Apprise your team of where you are at, and reach out to others, to continue the collaboration that makes development of products here in the US outstanding!
3. Remember there are still key staff that must go into the office, support them to the best of your ability and respect “Social Distancing”. “Social Distancing” is not a catch phrase it is a critical personal responsibility that will decrease the amount of time restrictions continue.
How you operate in the times of stress and challenges, will be how you will continue to be viewed in the good times! Be a shining example.
We continue to talk to Regulatory professionals about the hiring that is continuing. If you just need an ear, or have concerns we are here to support you.
